Join one of
our group tours to Tuscany and
experience glorious valleys, perched
villages, picturesque rolling hills and
vineyards. See ancient towns, ruins,
beautiful churches, interesting local shops,
an important and historical wine cellar,
famous artwork, intriguing
medieval walled cities and many sites rich
in history.
This tour concentrates on
Tuscany and all the great things it offers,
highlighting some of the gems like Lucca,
Pisa, Siena and more of Chianti where you
will explore a couple of the quaint villages. You will see the
Tuscan countryside
and sample some of the local food and wine.
You will have a tour of one of the best wine
producers in Chianti, tour their estate and
participate in a cooking class conducted by
their very well respected chef. This
may be the highlight for those of you who
are wine and food enthusiasts.
Your tour will
end in Florence where you'll have the
opportunity to enjoy the jewels created
during the Renaissance. You will see a few
of Michelangelo's works, including the Statue of
David. You'll hear all about the history of
this amazing city. This is a city known for
its magnificent squares, art treasures,
great architecture, fabulous food, fashion,
skilled artisans and outdoor markets.
Florence is also known for leather goods
and gold.
You will have a tour of the city and have
some time on your own to explore. You may visit the Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens
or the Bargello. Florence, the
birthplace of Renaissance, is an amazing
city and together with the Tuscan
countryside, make a fabulous tour of Italy.
