This interesting day trip begins with a boat tour on the Etang de Thau lagoon, learning about the long-standing oyster farming in the area, dating back to the Greeks. You will enjoy sampling the fresh oysters along with regional white wine at an oyster farm, and visit a traditional fish auction market in Sete. The village of Bouzigues also boasts an attractive harbor, beach, and oyster museum. On the way back and time permitting, you will visit the Pont d Gard, a famous Roman aqueduct dating from the 1st century.
